After 10 days of competition, the District 2 Little League Tournament has concluded and Shoreview teams came home with the District Championship Title for all three age groups!

All teams now move on to the State Tournament. The 12 year old team has an opportunity to continue as far as Williamsport PA for the Little League World Series.

Each summer, under the direction of MVHS baseball coach Mark Downey, a fun two hours of playing ball happens on the Mustang field. It is an opportunity for kids to just have fun playing the American pastime. There are two age grouping session. Consider signing your child up for next summer's fun.

We need your help!

SAYB is the largest youth sports organization in our community, servicing just under 900 kids a year. We have a tremendous need for volunteer support on our board. You do not need to be a baseball expert to serve on the board; just an adult who cares about kids having good experiences and opportunities.

Board meetings are the second Monday of the month at 7 pm at Chippewa Middle School. You will see signs directing you to the correct room. Meetings typically last an hour and a half.  Come and see what it is all about.

Boys and girls ages 5 through 18. First-time registrants must provide a copy of their birth certificate or other official proof of birth date when they register. See registration page for additional age details. 

Players age 6-12 youth residing in school districts 621/623/624 are welcome to participate in the SAYB program. Various resident rules apply for the other age groups. See Registration page for more details.
