Mission Statement

The purpose of Shoreview Area Youth Baseball is to implant firmly in the children of the community the ideals of teamwork, good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage and respect for authority, so that they may be well adjusted, stronger and happier children and will grow to be good, decent, healthy and trustworthy adult citizens.

Enhancement of each individual child shall be the goal of Shoreview Area Youth Baseball

In support of this goal, the objectives are:

  • to teach youth how to acquire an appreciation for an active lifestyle
  • to teach young ball players how to work as part of a team
  • to allow young people to develop social skills with other children and adults
  • to help ball players learn about managing success as well as disappointments
  • to enable young people to learn good sportsmanship in baseball and in life
  • to allow young ball players to learn respect for others.
