Shoreview Area Youth Baseball

Eligibility to participate in SAYB baseball requires that two conditions must be met. First, the player must meet the age requirements for the league of choice and second, the player must be able to demonstrate residency in the SAYB boundary area.

The JM/IL Post Season Development Program (The old "Extended Season" program) is open to SAYB Little League players who participated in either the Junior Minor league or the Instructional League this season. The registration fee is $25.00. The players will play six games total, two each week.

Player's birth date must be between May 1, 1999 and April 30, 2003 for eligibility. Player may request one friend. Friends MUST request each other or the request will not be honored. Friend requests are NOT guaranteed. Team placement requests are not considered. 

SAYB has developed a longstanding partnership with Centennial Lakes Little League to offer 4 and 6 year olds the opportunity to play in their tee-ball and coach pitch leagues.  Interested players age five and six from within the 621/623/624 school boundaries are invited to participate.  All games will be played at Lexington Memorial Park in the city of Lexington.  Registration is completed through Centennial Lakes Little League who also forms the teams.  If you have questions about these leagues please contact 763-780-3836 or refer to the Centennial Lakes Little League website for further information.

Player's birth date must be between May 1, 2001 and April 30, 2004 and meet residency requirements  for eligibility. Player may indicate that they prefer to play for a different coach than the prior year coach and may request one friend. Friends MUST request each other or the request will not be honored. Friend requests are NOT guaranteed. Team placement requests are not considered. Please see the Teams, Instructional League page for further information.

Player's birth date must be between May 1, 1997 and April 30, 2000  and meet residency requirements for eligibility. To be eligable for National League, the player must participate in the tryout process. If the player cannot complete the tryout process or chooses not to participate they will be placed on an American League team. Please see the Teams, Little League page for tryout process and schedule information.

Player's birth date must be between May 1, 1994 and April 30, 1998 and meet residency requirements for eligibility. 13 and 14 year olds can play up one year. To be eligable for National League, the player must participate in the tryout process. If the player cannot complete the tryout process or chooses not to participate they will be placed on an American League team.
